WorldSkills ASEAN Competition

Top young talent from ASEAN Member States competes in the WorldSkills ASEAN Competition to demonstrate their technical and vocational abilities. It was started in 1993 by an agreement between ASEAN members with the intention of establishing a regional standard for excellence in skills.

This biennial competition is hosted alternately by member nations. The Philippines will host the WorldSkills ASEAN Competition for the second time in its 14th year. In 25 skill categories spanning from technology to hospitality, about 300 competitors from the ten ASEAN Member States will participate.

In August 2025, the World Trade Centre Metro Manila will host the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition.
